The NBA has released its official Season Restart: Seeding Games Schedule for the resumed 2019-20 season at Walt Disney World.

There will be some very unusual elements, with games starting as early as 1 p.m. on weekdays, 12:30 p.m. on weekends and most nights seeing the slate end with 9 p.m. tip-offs - other than NBA Finals games, an absolute rarity for games being played on the East coast. If the eighth-placed team in either conference leads the number nine club by more than four games in the overall standings, it will become the eighth seed in that conference. Both games will be televised nationally by TNT.

After a four-month disruption to the National Basketball Association schedule because of the novel coronavirus, the Clippers will resume their season July 30 the same way they began it back in October - by facing the Lakers.

If a play-in tournament for the No. 8 seed in either conference is needed by the ninth-place team finishing within four games of the team in eighth, those games in a best-of-two series that the No. 9 team would need to sweep will begin on August 15.

The Clippers last played March 10 and will restart the season with a 44-20 record that is second in the Western Conference to the Lakers (49-14).

The Jazz are now ranked fourth in the Western Conference and are guaranteed a spot in the playoffs. If the NBA Finals reach a seventh game, they would be played on October 12.

During the season restart, there will be a maximum of seven seeding games per day across three venues at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. The NBA and its broadcast and technology partners are collaborating to enhance game telecasts and bring fans an immersive, interactive viewing experience.

- a matchup prevented any participating team from having eight feasible matchups. As stated before, the teams are going to play their next eight scheduled games before the season was suspended on March 11 due to the novel coronavirus.

In those cases, one instance of that matchup was added as a seeding game, and instances of repeat matchups as seeding games were removed where possible.
