Unlike Apple, Xiaomi has focused mainly on selling budget smart bands.

Xiaomi will reportedly unveil its next-gen fitness band Mi Band 5 in China on 11 June.

As far as the features are concerned, Mi Band 5 is expected to come with a punch hole display that sits in the middle of the screen at the bottom.

The Mi Band 4 it is replacing is already a really good smartwatch/fitness band for its price.

Mi Band 5 might support photo capture feature via smartphone. This feature will enhance heart rate tracking.

Xiaomi's next generation fitness tracker, Mi Band 5, has been in the news for quite some time now. It is also expected that the global version might come with NFC support. Another health function that is likely to be added to the fitness band is menstrual cycle tracking. Now, a new report details the device's date of launch.

It is expected that Xiaomi will not change the pill-shaped design language that we are used to seeing on the previous generation of Mi Bands.

Xiaomi has also not yet hinted about the availability of the upcoming Mi Band 5.
