Their characters famously attended San Dimas High in Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure. Recently the high school posted a video for the 2020 graduating class on their YouTube channel. Winter said they wanted to wish the graduates "the best of luck moving forward" and Reeves added his congratulations.

Reeves and Winter both starred in the movie's 1991 sequel, "Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey" and started production for the third installment, "Bill & Ted Face the Music", in June 2019. One such example is a recent video released by Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter for their San Dimas High School fans.

It's got to suck to have your graduation from high school virtually - then again my in-person graduation was hot as hell and did not feature guest appearances by two excellent movie stars. After almost three decades since the pair had last been on the big screen in 1991's Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, Reeves and Winter are reprising the roles once more for their upcoming sequel.

"We know that it's a tough time right now and that you're having to do this virtual graduation", Winter said. Galaxy Quest filmmaker Dean Parisot directs a script from Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon.

In the first movie, Bill and Ted traveled through time, meeting famous figures from centuries past to pen the ideal history report. Bill & Ted Face the Music will pick up decades later, with the pair now raising their daughters played by Brigette Lundy-Paine and Samara Weaving.

Now enduring the monotony of middle-aged life, William "Bill" S. Preston, Esq. and Theodore "Ted" Logan are warned by a visitor from the future of the need for them to create a song that will save all life on Earth and the entire universe.

Bill & Ted Face The Music is scheduled for an August 21st release date. Look at Reeves proudly wearing his Bill & Ted t-shirt!
