Wajid Khan's Funeral Attended By Family And Actor Aditya Pancholi

He died in the wee hours of Monday morning and had underlying kidney issues.

The musician, who created soundtracks for dozens of Bollywood blockbusters with his brother Sajid, passed away in Mumbai following complications from a kidney infection. I lost my brother & very very dear friend Wajid. She remembers all the good times she had spent with the music director. Working in several films such as "Wanted", "Tere Naam" and "Partner", Wajid was also a singer in his own right.

Indian music composer Wajid Khan left for heavenly abode, after succumbing to coronavirus and kidney ailments on Monday. Many celebrities such as Harshdeep Kaur, Varun Dhawan, Priety Zinta, Salim Merchant, Bipasha Basu, Mika Singh, and many more started expressing their grief on Wajid's demise. Once in their press conference, the duo was asked about their relationship and how they divide the work between them, Wajid Khan had stated, "Sajid and I are both passionate about our work and we give each other space". Many of his family members and close friends couldn't be there for his last rites because of the stringent rules amid the on-going pandemic.

Sons of Ustad Sharafat Ali Khan, a tabla player, the brothers were discovered by actor Salman Khan for his film Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya in 1998. He said that the singer was like a brother to him. It's not a good day for me, I lost such a handsome friend. May your soul rest in peace.
