Samsung Galaxy M11, Galaxy M01 Officially Launched: Check Price, Specs and More

The Galaxy M11 was introduced in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) earlier in March, while the Galaxy M01 comes as a new entrant.

Samsung Galaxy M11 and Galaxy M01 have been launched in India as the latest budget smartphones by the South Korean company.

The Galaxy M11 starts at ₹10,999 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage variant.

Both Galaxy devices will be available across all Samsung offline stores as well as on and e-commerce portals such as and Flipkart starting Tuesday. While the Galaxy M11 comes with a hole-punch display design and features a triple rear camera setup, the Galaxy M01 has a waterdrop-style display and includes dual rear cameras. The service also bundles Samsung Premium Care which gives extended warranty and free repairs for both mechanical and accidental damages to the phone, a Microsoft 365 subscription which gives access to Skype and Office for up to 5 devices and 1TB OneDrive cloud storage. The phone supports up to 512GB storage. The rear cameras support video recording of up to 1080p. There is also a large 5000mAh battery that supports 15W charging. It also runs Android 10 out of the box.

For photography, the Galaxy M01 has two rear cameras with one of them being a 13MP main sensor and another being a 2MP depth sensor. Other features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Besides, the phone measures 161.4x76.3x9.0mm and weighs 197 grams.

The Samsung Galaxy M01 comes with a 5.71-inch HD+ Infinity-V display with a screen resolution of 1560 x 720 pixels along with 19:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is an outdated Snapdragon 439 chipset, coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage. Samsung is offering the option to expand the storage using a microSD card of up to 512GB.

One other thing the leaks mentions is that, instead of the Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensor all the S20 phones save the base device had, the Note 20 Plus could have a "laser focus sensor" instead.

On the camera front, the Galaxy M01 is equipped with a dual-camera setup with a combination of 13-megapixel primary lens with f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, the phone offers an 8MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

The phone runs on Android 10 operating system with OneUI running on top.

The Samsung Galaxy M01 houses an eight-core platform with a frequency of 2GHz. It has a 6.1-inch Super AMOLED display and it measures 149.9 x 69.8 x 7.9mm, or nearly the same as the smallest Galaxy S20 model.
