Somehow it's been a whole 20 years since the original X-Men movie was released and to celebrate that big milestone some of the original cast enjoyed a virtual reunion - which was epically gatecrashed by some X-Men stars from later movies in the franchise.

X-Men: Origins stars Halle Berry (Storm), Sir Patrick Stewart (Professor X), and Famke Janssen (Jean Grey) were all having a nice chat before Reynolds butts in, to Jackman's faux chagrin. Jackman gently tried to push Reynolds out of the reunion - "See ya, Ryan" - when the Deadpool actor revealed that he'd actually invited a few others from different X-Men films. To all the first responders, essential workers and those fighting for racial justice: "I stand in awe of your efforts this year and I stand with you", he said.

Sophie Turner and James McAvoy, both from X-Men: Dark Phoenix, then appear on screen for a brief moment before everyone starts signing off.

"Oh, sorry, I thought this was the Game of Thrones reunion", Turner said after joining, before quickly leaving the chat.

It wasn't long though before a call rang in, bringing Ryan Reynolds into the session (which made McKellen scram immediately). "I actually have a James Bond Zoom call now", says Famke Janssen (Jean Grey).

Ryan Reynolds never passes up an opportunity to prank his mate Hugh Jackman. Soon, McAvoy claimed he had to attend a "Split" reunion, while Stewart cited "Star Trek".

He didn't even need to answer as Liev Schreiber, who played Victor Creed in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, popped up on screen to answer, "X-Men Origins reunite!" - leading Jackman to hang his head in despair.

Left with just long time feuders Jackman and Reynolds on screen, the Green Lantern star commented, "I guess it's just you and me Logan" to which The Wolverine star responded "I guess so".

"You know what that makes this a reunion for?" asked the Deadpool 2 actor.
