Ryan and Hugh, who co-starred in X-Men Origins: Wolverine in 2009, have always had a hilarious bromance.

Reynolds is expected to reprise his role as Wade Wilson in Deadpool 3 although the sequel has not yet been given an official release date. Well, that didn't stop Ryan Reynolds from trying to join a special reunion of the X-Men cast.

The X-Men got together over the weekend for a charity reunion Zoom call, but found themselves with an uninvited guest. That's because Ryan Reynolds recently crashed a virtual gathering of original X-Men actors, who were celebrating the first movie's 20th anniversary.

Actor and Global Citizen Ambassador Hugh Jackman tried to reunite over Zoom with his castmates from X-Men - Halle Berry, Sir Patrick Stewart, and Famke Janssen - during Global Goal: Unite for Our Future - The Concert on Saturday. X-Men: Dark Phoenix stars Sophie Turner and James McAvoy appeared on the reunion for a brief moment as Sophie joked, "Oh sorry, I actually thought this was a Game of Thrones reunion".

Ryan Reynolds never passes up an opportunity to prank his mate Hugh Jackman.

"Split reunion", James added whereas Patick Stewart said, "Star Trek". "Guess it's just me and you, Logan".

Ryan Reynolds once again pranks Hugh Jackman.

He didn't even need to answer as Liev Schreiber, who played Victor Creed in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, popped up on screen to answer, "X-Men Origins reunite!" - leading Jackman to hang his head in despair.

"Yeah, always good seeing you", said Jackman.

"Sometime in the not too distant future the hard work of every global citizen will bring about a healthier, safer, more equitable world". "To all the first responders, essential workers and those fighting for racial justice: I stand in awe of your efforts this year and I stand with you".
