Lewis and Clark County adds one COVID-19 case

The Monroe County public health department reported one new death from COVID-19 on Monday, the day after a weekend in which the county recorded no deaths from the disease.

Riley County has seen 15 new cases of COVID-19 since Sunday, June 28.

Public health officials from Bureau, Putnam and Marshall County Health Department were notified of the positive tests, according to state and local public health protocols.

As of Monday morning, Scott County reported 619 cases, up from 594 reported late Sunday morning.

According to the Johns Hopkins Center for Systems Science and Engineering, the virus has infected more than 10.1 million people worldwide and killed about 502,387.

DCHD has also confirmed 3,322 recoveries. A male in his 20's, who has had no known contact with a COVID-19 case, is doing well at home in isolation. Marshall County has had eight confirmed cases.

· Henry, 81 confirmed cases (1,593 tested); three deaths; 71 recovered.

Morgan County Commission Chairman Ray Long said starting Tuesday, officials will make face masks available to everyone that comes to the courthouse without one.
