In fact, the developer reveals that this new content is only a bit over a month away from releasing.

The First DLC Pack For Minecraft Dungeons Launches This July

There's no solid release date yet for Jungle Awakens, but it's the first of two planned DLC expansions for this year; the second is Creeping Winter, which is out sometime later this year. This brief update also mentioned how some "cool new free content" was on the way for everyone and said more details would be shared in the coming weeks. Before long, he finds himself on a path of evil, causing mayhem across the Overworld.

Minecraft Dungeons has been published by Xbox Game Studios for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on May 26.

"You probably already know that we're now working on new content for Minecraft Dungeons, especially if you've purchased the Hero Edition", wrote Mojang's Cristina Anderca in an update on the official website. As announced on the official blog, two big DLCs are coming.

Jungle Awakens will introduce the Leapleaf, Jungle Zombie, and Poison Quill Vine. The name may also imply that creepers will be wandering around those snowy peaks so you will probably have to watch out for those in the Creeping Winter missions. Online play is also limited to friends-only matchmaking, as the game does not allow you to team up with random adventurers.
