Internazionale and Real Madrid reach agreement for Achraf Hakimi transfer

The 21-year-old has enjoyed two outstanding years out on loan with Borussia Dortmund but faces an uncertain future upon his return to the Santiago Bernabéu - as Real still have Dani Carvajal on their books.

Inter are in advanced negotiations over a deal to sign Achraf Hakimi from Real Madrid, Nerazzurri chief executive Beppe Marotta has confirmed.

Achraf Hakimi's time at Borussia Dortmund is over after two years.


Dortmund the other day announced the signing of full-back Thomas Meunier when his Paris Saint-Germain contract expires on June 30.

Dortmund have not been shy about their desire to see Hakimi remain at Signal Iduna Park, with sporting director Michael Zorc saying he was hopeful of finding a "solution" on Friday.

Ausilio has also stated that their striker Lautaro Martinez is only going to depart the club come early july is if his £99.7m (€111m) release clause is met, while Mauro Icardi has moved to Paris Saint-Germain on a permanent deal.

After joining Real Madrid at eight years old and performing in youth categories, he was finally promoted to the main squad with which he played his first game against RCD Espanyol in October 2017.
