IL health officials report 113 new coronavirus deaths statewide

The Illinois Department of Public Health announced Tuesday that 1,614 more people have tested positive for COVID-19 and 113 more people have died.

Gallia County's first case of COVID-19 was reported to the Gallia County Health Department March 20.

Dare County has worked with the individual who tested positive, as well as their local health department, to ensure that all direct contacts in Dare County were identified and notified.

McHenry County now has had 1,636 cases of COVID-19 and 74 deaths, according to the MCDH.

Lake County has 8,450 cases and 307 deaths, according to the IDPH.

As of midnight Monday 1 June the HPSC has been notified of 10 confirmed cases of Covid-19.

Below is a chart with the curve, showing the growth of confirmed cases in the state. There is now a total of 25,066 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Ireland. About 40% are recovering at home, whether it's a traditional residence or a long-term care facility, and about 1% are in the hospital.

More than half of Kendall County's confirmed COVID-19 cases involve individuals between the ages of 30 and 59, per county health data.
