COVID-19 cases increase to 994 in Marshall County

Public officials at the Bureau, Putnam, Marshall County Health Department are in the beginning stages of the investigation and are working to identify individuals who were in contact with the case.

The latest numbers on COVID-19 patients in Monroe County show 31 new confirmed cases.

In Juneau County, one new positive test was reported today, bringing the total to 34, of which seven are active, five are released from isolation, 21 have recovered and one has died.


- Brown County, Ohio, there are 47 confirmed cases with one death.

A total of 2,986 county residents have recovered from the illness, the DCHD stated.

The two new cases are females, aged 29 and 87 years, with addresses in the Corporate Area.


Since the pandemic arrived in the province in mid-March, 42,493 tests have been conducted and there have been 165 confirmed cases of the respiratory disease.

The Iowa Department of public health is no longer reporting how many cases have been asymptomatic, but last week 12 percent were reported as asymptomatic. In front are Polk with 5,682; Woodbury, 3,095; Black Hawk, 1,941; Buena Vista, 1,678; Linn, 1,136; and Dallas with 1,097.
