This is the first time, it has said something about ROG Phone III, its upcoming phone. When the plugin for the Unity Engine is finalized and pushed out to devices, it's not immediately clear if those supported features will be something that users can adjust.

With the Asus ROG Phone's modularity, the options are quite infinte! The phone is now just a leak and the official announcement regarding the brand new phone has not yet surfaced. The upcoming Asus device seems to be holding the model number known as "Asus_1003D" and will be rocking the Android 10 software.

The Asus ROG line of smartphones have been hardware rich with no game truly taking advantage of the ROG Phone's untapped potential. Developers might be also to control how the phones will react to add-ons, without compromising the gaming experience.

Another device with a very similar model number was also spotted on the exact same database making use of 8GB RAM.

A new Asus phone has appeared on Geekbench, as per a TechRadar report.

The listing also mentions the word "Kona" as the motherboard, which is the codename for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865. That's the chipset we've seen in a variety of top-end phones this year.

Aside from just this, there is not much that can actually be dug up out of the leaked listing. The sheer presence of these benchmark scores hint at an imminent launch though.

ASUS hasn't officially announced the ROG Phone III yet, but it has now confirmed its existence through the announcement of Unity partnership.

According to a new report from GSMArena, citing an ASUS press release, the famous gaming brand has named Unity as a verified solutions partner. This may mean that Asus' formal announcement won't be too far away. This will be the third ROG Phone gaming smartphone to be launched by the Taiwan-based smartphone company.
