Plenty of Snyder Cut aficionados know enough about the film industry to understand this, but if you're not following the campaign closely, you might be under the impression that Warner Bros. can just edit a few deleted scenes together and call it a day. Plans changed when Joss Whedon took over, and the New God ended up being cut from the film entirely.

This follows not only the internet-breaking Justice League Snyder Cut announcement, but also the confirmation that Ray Porter (the actor who was supposed to play Darkseid before Snyder left the original project) was involved. In other words, the Snyder cut will most likely exceed the $30 million mark. "Because it isn't as easy as going into a vault and there's a Snyder Cut that's sitting there to put out".

HBO Max Boss Projects ‘Wildly Expensive’ Snyder Cut Will Cost Over $30 Million

Fueled by the hero's restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Justice League sees Bruce Wayne enlist the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy.

"Since I got here 14 months ago, the chant to #ReleaseTheSnyderCut has been a daily drumbeat in our offices and inboxes", Greenblatt said last week when the Snyder cut was officially announced.

If these shots look familiar it's because they were featured in the theatrical cut of Justice League when Wonder Woman tells Batman the ancient history of Earth and how the Amazonians pushed back Steppenwolf's forces.

Greenblatt described the Snyder Cut as "a radical rethinking of that movie" and "complicated and wildly expensive. I'll just say I wish it was $30 million and stop there". "It's an enormous undertaking and very complex". "Well, the fans have asked, and we are thrilled to finally deliver".

Director Zack Snyder recently confirmed that the tyrannical ruler of Apokolips would indeed feature in his original version of the movie, and he's now shared a shot of "Uxas" to his Twitter account. Along with the image, Snyder provided the simple caption, "He's coming.to HBO Max".
