Woods will be paired with Peyton Manning, the retired Denver Broncos and Indianapolis Colts quarterback, and Mickelson will play with Tom Brady, the former New England Patriots star who joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The shot got the attention of several people in the golf world, including Brooks Koepka.

Charles Barkley, offering up spicy commentary on Turner Sports, joked with Brady that he wanted a piece of him on the course. Brady's ball landed just past the hole and spun it back into the cup for a shocking birdie.

On the second hole, Manning changed to a dark NOLA hat.

Tiger Woods and former National Football League player Peyton Manning read a putt on the sixth green at Medalist Golf Club, Florida. They took a 1-up lead into the last on a blustery, rainy afternoon.

It's the second edition of a match between Woods and Mickelson, the dominant players of their generation and rivals by name, but not necessarily by record.

Manning's opening tee shot at Medalist Golf Club was so bad that he eventually felt the need to change hats.

Woods has won 15 golf majors and Mickelson has finished first in five.
