The Terrace features an IP55 water and dust resistance rating, so it's able to hold up to light water exposure.

Imagine this: Samsung didn't have an outdoor, 4K QLED TV in its portfolio - until now.

The Terrace comes equipped with Tizen, Samsung's Smart TV platform, which powers features such as Samsung TV Plus, a free linear TV video service with over 120 channels, Samsung Health, a fitness and wellness platform that launches in the USA next week, as well as the leading subscription streaming services. It will be soon available in Germany, Australia and New Zealand.

- Of these, 55 inch TVs have been priced at $ 3,455 i.e. around Rs 2,62,458, 65 inch TVs priced at $ 4,999, around Rs 3,79,744 and 75 inch TVs priced at $ 6,499 i.e. around Rs 4,93,690. No word on United Kingdom pricing. Designed specifically with the elements in mind, the Terrace is IP55 water and dust resistant, according to a press release.

"This is a milestone launch with a number of firsts for Samsung and Bloomberg Media", added Salek Brodsky, Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Business Development for Samsung Electronics.

Samsung also promotes the high brightness of the TV (2,000 nits), anti-reflective display technology and adaptive brightness.

Also, Samsung has designed the new Terrace Soundbar to pair it with the new TV. Having already won over millions of living rooms worldwide with its 4K television sets, it seems Samsung now has its eye on our decks, backyards and, yes, terraces. The device delivers high-quality and a deep and clear bass sound from its built-in woofers. We gather around the TV to enjoy our favorite sports and entertainment and we often gather with friends and family. The Terrace TV and soundbar can connect wirelessly to each other over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, so no cable is needed between them.

Samsung includes its Tizen smart TV platform in the Terrace, providing the same streaming media and app features as its indoor TVs.

Lastly, Samsung announced its Sero display would now be available in both a 43- and 55-inch model. The matching Terrace soundbar is available for $1,199.
