The new Terrace is part of Samsung's growing "lifestyle" family of TVs, which includes the Frame, the Sero and the Serif.

Samsung says it is created to bring the full indoor entertainment experience outside.

The display provides 2,000 nits of brightness, so the screen is visible even in daylight.

The display also features anti-reflective coating to minimize unwanted glare, as well as adaptive picture technology to optimize content for its surroundings.

Samsung said the display is particularly suited to sports fans because of its high motion rate, which provides clear, lifelike picture quality, ideal for motion-intensive content.

The Terrace QLED 4K Smart TV comes in 55-inch, 65-inch and 75-inch models. And for businesses, Samsung will be launching professional model in the United States, Germany, and Australia later this year. "It's a center for entertainment, a source for news, a hub for exercise, and it helps us stay connected at work", says James Fishler, senior vice president of the Home Entertainment Division at Samsung Electronics America.

Featuring IP55 level durability, The Terrace Soundbar can be mounted to a wall, or directly to The Terrace TV.

It has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. Samsung is also announcing the Terrace Soundbar with distortion canceling technology and an IP55 weather-resistance rating. Finally, the set is equipped with Tizen, Samsung's smart TV platform and will supports multiple voice services, including Bixby, Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Right out of the box, The Terrace delivers high-quality sound and a deep and clear bass sound from its built-in woofers.

We've no word on pricing for the 55-inch version, but the 65-inch model is up for pre-order now for US$4,999.99, the 75-inch model comes in at $6,499.99, and the soundbar is priced at $1,199.99. It gives users the ability to rotate between horizontal and vertical orientations with their television - just like a smartphone or tablet.

Aside from Bundesliga matches on the 2020 QLED TV range, Samsung Collection also offers weekly Sportworld Preview and an electronic program guide.
