On Tuesday, the company launched a new phone called Realme X3 SuperZoom, a flagship that launches in Europe first and hits all the right spots for a price of €499 ($547/£447).

I've been using the X3 SuperZoom for the last few days, and I'm suitably impressed with what Realme has managed to offer for such a reasonable price point.

In terms of the cameras, the phone packs a quad rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 aperture.

Realme first unveiled the Ralme X50 Pro in China in March 2020. Additionally, the fingerprint sensor is integrated on the power button.

Realme X50 Pro Player Edition has 65W fast charging and a 90Hz display among other features. The peak brightness is 480 nits, and the display is protected by 2.5D Gorilla Glass 5.

On the front, the dual-lens unit is likely to include a 32MP (f/2.2) primary sensor and an 8MP (f/2.4) ultra-wide camera.

On the inside, the Realme X3 SuperZoom is powered by the last-gen Snapdragon 855+ chipset with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage. Additionally, the Realme X3 SuperZoom comes with a starry mode for astrophotography. There's only a single variant available in Europe. The new Realme phone also features a tactile vibrator under the hood.

In the camera department, Realme X3 SuperZoom massive gains over the Realme X2 Pro. The vertically-stacked rear camera module also houses an 8-megapixel sensor with a periscope lens that offers 5x optical zoom or 60x digital zoom and optical image stabilisation (OIS). It's still a quad-camera system helmed by a 64MP primary sensor. The company also explains how the feature works in the video below. For the X50 Pro Player Editon, Realme has used top-notch specifications keeping gaming as well as 5G connectivity in mind.

The battery is the same as that of the Realme X50 Pro with 65 W fast-charging capabilities. This is a downgrade from the 50W SuperVOOC quick charging technology you get on its predecessor. It can take the battery from empty to full in less than an hour.

There are three variants of the gaming phone - 6GB RAM + 128GB, 8GB RAM +128GB and 12GB RAM +128GB.

Today, Realme has launched multiple new devices as well as other products. It is available for pre-order now on Realme's website, and will start shipping in "early June". So, are you excited to get your hands on this smartphone?
