Prince William and Kate Middleton not only talk the talk, but walk the walk.

He continued: "It encouraged me to seek help when I was struggling, help which was effective".

It is understood that Archbishop Welby spoke to both William and his younger brother, Prince Harry, about his battle with depression. In turn, the Princes are said to have spoken to him about their own struggles with their mental health.

Prince William has opened up about his experience becoming a father and admitted it was "one of the scariest" moments of his life and brought back memories of his late mother Princess Diana. "But no we're fine, thank you for asking". His biological father turned out to be Sir Anthony Montague Browne, a private secretary to Winston Churchill.

The 37-year-old reflected on that part of his life in a documentary on football and mental health, which is scheduled to release later this week, The Times of London reported.

He said the support of his wife had been vital to the pair evolving as parents.

Today, a reflection recorded by the Duke was played during streamed services to mark the end of Mental Health Awareness Week.

In the programme, the royal meets players, managers and fans in an effort to promote the importance of mental health in the sport.

The message was recorded from Anmer Hall, where William is now isolating with his family.

'And when you have buddies or family members that identify it, they can claim "might it not be an idea to talk to someone". Speaking on the Taskforces' work and achievements so far, The Duke said: • "Everything that you do to root out corruption, improve your processes and techniques, and flag suspicious activity to law enforcement, helps make this trade too risky for criminals to stomach".

Throughout the documentary, Prince William has a number of similarly candid conversations about mental health and life's most challenging moments.Football, Prince William and Our Mental Health will air in the United Kingdom on Thursday (May 28) on BBC One.
