The NBA is in talks to resume the season at Florida's Disney World Resort in late July.

The NBA was the first of the US major pro leagues to suspend its season after it became known that All-Star center Rudy Gobert of the Utah Jazz tested positive for COVID-19 the night on of March 11.

The NBA told teams in certain markets that they are working to redirect them to the bubble site for the start of training camp.

The NBA is discussing a step-by-step plan for a resumption of the 2019-2020 season that includes an initial two-week recall of players into team marketplaces for a period of quarantine, one to two weeks of individual workouts at team facilities and a two-to-three week formal training camp, Wojnarowski reported.

The league is expected to use Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida as a campus hub for Eastern Conference teams and Las Vegas for Western Conference teams.

"That's the money-winner when it comes to Disney", Dudley said. "That one I'm nearly 100% sure of".

Florida has confirmed just over 50,000 COVID-19 cases, though more than half of those are in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties and not in the Orlando area. "The virus itself didn't get better. stay safe". Those conditions are particularly challenging for a full-contact sport that is played inside, and National Basketball Association teams to this point have instructed players to practice strict social distancing during workouts at their facilities.

In his article, Smith explained that he favored the complex because it has the capacity to house all of the players, coaches, trainers, officials, broadcasters, and other essential personnel in one location, limiting their exposure to the outside world, and therefore, the coronavirus. Will they figure out the regular season? Germany's top soccer league Bundesliga resumed play last weekend, and on Saturday Spain's La Liga received clearance from Spanish prime minister Pedro Sanchez to resume its season in early June.
