Lisa Kudrow says her car was searched every night after 'Friends' filming

The moment became an inside joke for the two and Matthew chose to give it to Lisa as a gift when they finished filming the show for the last time.

The actress behind Phoebe Buffay said she, "can't wait for it to happen!" It's gonna be fun.

Sadly due to the global coronavirus pandemic, it was reported that the reunion was forced to be pushed back to November this year, with the hope that it will be released on Thanksgiving.

Kudrow and the other cast members will star in a Friends reunion special on streaming service HBO Max.


For this reason, she remembers asking Matthew "Did you get permission?", as she explains "I mean, my vehicle used to get searched every night when I left".

She added: "To be honest, I think when it moved to Netflix and it did so well on Netflix".

Kudrow also opened up on how streaming giant Netflix encouraged the highly-anticipated reunion to happen after the popular show received a new wave of popularity on the platform.

Kudrow, who played the lovable but kooky Phoebe Buffay on the hit sitcom, will be getting together with Jennifer Aniston, Matt LeBlanc, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer for the event, and she assured fans the new installment would exceed all our expectations.


Kudrow stated that the guys chose to reunite because of the success the show had on Netflix; the 56-year-old claimed that they really hadn't seriously considered reforming before that. FRIENDS premiered in 1994 and ran for 10 seasons.

"We feel the reunion needs to be done in front of an audience; we can't not share it after all this time".
