Idris Elba tells fans about his health after positive coronavirus test

Idris Elba makes sure to put it across to his fans that everyone is in this together and they will surely come out stronger.

"We're both doing ok. I think she's finding it harder, she's getting cabin fever", he said. "We've successfully passed the quarantine period".

The time in quarantine was rather hard as Elba does not sit still and they both had a bit of cabin fever. "So we just have to sit still for a little bit".


He said that although their period of self-isolation following their diagnosis had come to an end, they are "a little bit stuck" and unable to fly home. The actor who featured in The Mountain Between Us also mentions how he and wife Sabrina are trying their best to stay optimistic amid the testing times like the current.

People lost their muthaf***in' minds when Idris Elba pressed "send" on a social media video announcing that he had indeed contracted coronavirus. "I think the worst of it is probably past".

Idris went on to advise his followers to take care of themselves, "I hope you guys are. keeping yourselves, you know, sane and not getting anxious or too panicked".


Speaking on behalf of his fellow asthmatic, Idris said that he has already experienced the worst part of the effects of the infection and said he is thankful that he had overcome it.

Elba also thanked everyone that's out on the front lines, including doctors and nurses, saying, "Everyone who is helping other people, especially the doctors and nurses and health care people doing their thing".

"Just bare up. This is going to be a tough time for everyone, but keep your head up, basically, alright?" he said. "You lot are incredible, and you should be fully appreciated". "We're going to fight this thing and everything's going to be cool".


She told Apple TV+ show "Oprah Talks COVID-19": "As soon as I heard that Idris was potentially exposed, I mean, I was on my way anyway, I wanted to be with him". "It's a little bit worrisome".
