The official name of the upcoming earbuds is unknown but its codename is revealed to be "Bean" which should not be a surprise since it actually does look like a kidney bean.

You can think of nearly any design that can be tried about wireless in-ear headphones as tried, but Samsung's leaked and emerging new wireless headset design really looks interesting. Now a new report from WinFuture suggests the Korean tech giant is readying a new pair of wireless earbuds with a radical design that is unlike anything we've seen before. Rubber tips provide a tighter ear canal seal and can therefore block out ambient noise easily, but this sort of design could struggle to achieve the same. Additionally, the earbuds will feature several built-in microphones to help users answer calls and interact with their assistant of choice, but we can't be sure if the earbuds will feature active noise cancellation capabilities.

Samsung already makes some of the best AirPods Pro alternatives in the excellent Galaxy Buds Plus. However, it seems the brand has since not slowed down with the development of its next true wireless earbuds. So far, there is no information in terms of the internal specs such as battery, which the report is because these headphones are now in the phase of the first Engineering Validation Testing (EVT1). Information on battery size and other specifications aren't yet known.

The renders show that the bean-like design won't include the stems that go into a person's ear, unlike the two previous Galaxy Buds. "Complete depletion" of the product is still entirely possible, he says.

The design is said to be in final validation, and I assume we will see the headphones released either in Q3 with the release of the Note 20 or next year with the Samsung Galaxy S21.
