It's true: Beneath Grande's sleek, straight, mermaid-length pony lie some attractive, naturally curly strands, and it seems like she's using her time in quarantine to let them loose. The last time fans got a peek of her natural hair was back in August a year ago, when she gave her signature pony a rest during her Sweetener tour.

The 7 Rings singer, who's known for always sporting a high ponytail, shared a photo on Instagram on Monday with the caption: "Get a load a dis".

Grande is rarely seen without her ponytail in tow. Over the course of the past year and a bit, the 26-year-old has taken to Twitter and Instagram to open up about her hair journey and let her followers see her real hair underneath her famous ponytail.

Grande's mother, Joan Grande, confirmed that Grande's look was natural.

It's been so long since we've seen Ariana with her natural hair, in fact, the last time she showed off her natural locks was back in August when her hairstylist, Josh Liu, posted a photo of the singer lying in bed with extra curly wet hair as if she had just gotten out of the shower. Needless to say, fans are loving her curly-girl vibes.

Fans of Ariana will be well aware that she has a complicated relationship with her hair. Yes, Arianators, believe it- Ari no longer has her signature sky-high ponytail burning a hole into her head at the moment, and we have our current pandemic to thank for that. She also said that her hairs was "so broken" that it looked "absurd" down.
