Once he was connected with GaGa, Jimmy excitedly said, "Hi! Lady Gaga!" once their connection began, and he showed his phone to the screen. The "Stupid Love" singer was all made up looking smart with the touch of her usual red lipstick.

This resulted in a very awkward conversation between the pair.

As of Friday, Gaga is expected to make her COVID-19 announcement on Monday on "The Tonight Show". She was distracted and talking to her assistants, sometimes not even realizing they were on TV.

"I can't, Jimmy. I can't talk right now", the 34-year old superstar (who just had a birthday Saturday) responded. Then her interview ended when she told him "I just can't talk right now", as phones could be heard going off on her end of the line. I, uh, can't talk right now. "I'm really sorry. It's just, like, a really weird time right now".

"Hello? Jimmy I can't see you".

Lady Gaga and Jimmy Fallon's recent FaceTime call didn't go exactly as planned.

She was supposed to make a massive announcement via video chat. Yeah, can we do it Monday? Now and then, the kids will be there listening and they don't laugh at anything.

"I can do Friday", Gaga told Jimmy. He pretty much had to agree with her though he looked really confused about what she was talking about.

Unfortunately for Jimmy the scheduling conflicts didn't stop here - she called him back to postpone her appearance until Monday.

The world may have come to a standstill due to the novel coronavirus, but Lady Gaga is as busy as ever. And as much as she would like everyone to know what her good deed was going to be, she would rather work on it behind the cameras.
