The primary brand, which become to start with leaked on Twitter weeks ago, became widely criticized through National Football League fans once more on Monday.

In the actual logo, the ram's horn looks less like a bolt and much more like an ocean wave, which is what its designers planned.

The reimagined look is the culmination of a rebranding effort that has taken place since 2016, when the Rams returned to Southern California from St. Louis, Missouri.

Along with the new year and new venue, the franchise decided a new look was also in order.

"We always looked at blue and yellow and white, we looked at a wide range of things around that as accent colors", Demoff said.

One was leaked a few weeks ago, and was mocked by people around the nation.

Needless to say, the teased logo didn't go over well. "[That hat] was a bad first introduction to where we are headed, but there's nothing we can do about how that came to be".

The Rams also recently released two-time All-Pro running back Todd Gurley which gives the team some definite question marks heading into next season regardless of their logo. The Rams used a blue-and-white color scheme in their uniforms and logos from 1964 until 1973, when owner Carroll Rosenbloom brought back gold.

On Monday afternoon, the Los Angeles Rams said there would be a big announcement across their social media.

The Rams will rock their new color scheme when they play the 49ers twice this season, and LA is set to unveil its new uniform set later this spring.
