This news comes to light as an eagle-eyed Redditor managed to sniff out data within updates for boththe most recent main release and Warzone indicating this was in the pipeline.

However, given that we now have remastered version of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 1 & 2, it makes ideal sense that Activision would want to complete the trilogy. But hey, a remastered campaign is better than a remastered nothing.

While many folks today are enjoying Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and its Call of Duty: Warzone battle royale add-on, there's another member of popular franchise launching tomorrow.

Moreover, and according to the store, COD MW Remaster will release on March 31st. The original version of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 came out back in 2011 for PS3, PC, and Xbox 360, and shipped with an extensive multiplayer component. You can scroll down to see the full video, but the trailer appears to confirm that it's a campaign-only remaster, and says the game is "available now" - and while that's not currently true, it certainly means the trailer is for a game aimed to release very soon. This is to be expected from Activision-the company will always find new ways to sell you old stuff-and ties right into the company's massive new engagement-monetization strategy that's permeated all of its games.

Players can earn Double XP, Double Weapon XP, and double Battle Pass tier progression earn rate this weekend by playing Multiplayer, Special Ops, or Warzone.
