However, die-hard fans, who praise the "Toxic" singer despite the peculiarity of her Instagram posts, still called Spears, 38, the "queen of world records" and "queen of rounding down" in the comments section. What would Usain Bolt say?

Britney uploaded this image to her Instagram account, which she has since deleted.

Spears claimed to have run 100 metres in a time of 00:05:97, which is fairly astonishing considering that Usain Bolt holds the record for the same distance - at a time of 9.58 seconds.

Sport may have been disrupted by the coronavirus pandemic, but a new 100 metres standard has been set - according to a popstar with knowledge of records.

"Call your loved ones, write virtual love letters". In fact, she claims she's faster than every Olympian. ever.

Britney has been showing off her political side during coronavirus lockdown, and fans are reading into it a little too heavily.

Her boyfriend, Sam Asghari, commented, "Amazing let's get this things (sic) started!"

Zhu tweeted: "At the end of the day I think this is amusing and sweet, and I'm happy my work moved her becuz [sic] she moved me a lot while I was growing up - Comrade Britney is an icon and I'm glad we are connected on this wavelength".

"I remember one time I asked her, 'Mom, what happened to your music?"

So here's what I think: either she mistook what a 100-meter run was or she was just trying to stir up some internet hilarity.
