It is noted that the model has a 6.5-inch OLED HDR 4K CinemaWide display with a cinematic aspect ratio of 21:9. Actually, this is branded similarly to the Sony cameras, so just as the "Sony A7 III" is pronounced "Sony Alpha seven mark three", this thing is apparently the "Sony Xperia One Mark Two". Sony and Verizon then repeated the trick at CES 2020 in January, emphasising how 5G can allow for more creative and untethered camerawork while also reducing set-up time and costs.

Sony was once a big player in the smartphone market, competing with the likes of Samsung and Apple. It will also ship from Spring 2020 and go on sale in several countries. It's just the USA that is focusing on millimeter-wave 5G rollouts. However, it only has antennas for sub-6 signals. "In addition, what is described as "a low dielectric constant material" (graphite sheet, vapour chamber, and air gap) enables radio waves to pass through more easily".

The newly launched handset is equipped with advanced camera technology which focuses on professional photo features. The source also believes it will host a 6.6-inch OLED panel of QHD+ resolution. However, the company makes up for it by implementing its "Motion Blur Reduction" tech instead, which the company claims matches 99Hz display benefits by analysing what's on the screens and adjusting individual frames, thereby reducing frame lags. Combined with Dolby Atmos multi-dimensional sound, it offers a truly immersive experience.

Supporting the gaming experience further, the Game Enhancer mode, which optimizes the game's processing performance on the device, has been improved with additional functionality on Xperia 1 II, such as "Competition Set", which pins a game to the screen and turns Xperia into a dedicated gaming device, making it ideal for competitive matches and Esports.

Now, there is no clarity on the precise release dates of these devices and Sony is yet to declare their prices as well. Thus, the smartphone will act as a viewfinder and thanks to 5G connectivity it will act as a broadcasting device as well. But as 5G inexorably widens its spread the Xperia device could find favour as an additional contribution link for news and sports coverage or by anyone wanting to live stream. Although, there's a lot of push on the audio side too. Despite the cancellation of the Mobile World Congress, Sony has gone ahead with the presentation of its new flagship, which is also its first-ever 5G-compatible smartphone.

The Sony Xperia one mark II delivers photo shooting features available on the Alpha lineup of cameras from Sony. With the expanded dual-photo diode and 3D iToF sensor combined, the new Xperia 1 II can give you constant autofocus and auto-exposure while you're shooting.

Sony also announced a less full featured counterpart. There's a 4,000mAh battery, a premium glass-backed design, water and dust resistance, wireless charging, 256GB of storage, and Android 10. It does still have a triple camera setup like the Xperia 1 II, but the resolution of the ultra-wide and telephoto are only 8MP.
