Sony Says PS5 Price Is Yet To Be Decided

Sony has spoken up on the coronavirus outbreak in China and the effects it may have on its image sensor and other operations.

Because, as Totoki states, the one thing Sony really has to nail with the PS5 launch is the transitioning of that massive, generation-winning install base.

LetsGoDigital maintained: "Consider a racing game such as Gran Turismo, where you can easily change gears with the extra buttons. This will also add value to other games, for example, making it easier to switch weapons or shooting targets with a shooting game".

The video also indicates that the controller will have pressure-sensitive buttons, which were present with the PS2 and PS3, but not PS4.

The PS5 is without a doubt nearly here, but we're still not quite sure when we'll see it in the flesh. However, Sony's more recent moves, including the launch of a DualShock 4 accessory and new PlayStation controllers, may have spoiled some of the new DualShock controller's secrets.

Although we are exciting, we are still watching a concept video that may not be a fully accurate representation of the real thing. To date, Sony has sold twice as many PS4 consoles than Microsoft has sold Xbox One consoles, and that has left them in a very dominant position going into the next generation. There are some rumoured controller features of course, but all of the confirmed info you'll find just underneath. As such, it does actually make sense for Sony to essentially play a game of wait and see for now.

The Japanese company improved its full year profit forecast by about 5% - instead of JPY840 billion, Sony now expects to earn JPY880 billion ($8.07 billion) when it ends its fiscal year on March 31, 2020.

"First, we must absolutely control the labour cost, the personnel cost, it must be controlled".

"With haptics, you truly feel a broader range of feedback, so crashing into a wall in a race vehicle feels much different than making a tackle on the football field".

"The second innovation is something we call adaptive triggers, which have been incorporated into the trigger buttons (L2/R2)".

"In combination with the haptics, this can produce a powerful experience that better simulates various actions".
