RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars is about to air a particular version on Showtime for the primary time ever on June 5 at eight pm ET/PT after the season finale of season 12 of RuPaul's Drag Race on VH1.

RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 5 will premiere on Showtime in the USA on Friday June 5 at 8pm and will "stream in select territories" on WOW Presents Plus afterwards. "We're excited to benefit from our relationship with our new sister firm VH1 to current a particular version of this sensational sequence and produce on this passionate and strong fanbase".

RuPaul was told to "sashay away" by fans who labelled him "greedy" after it was announced that All Stars 5 would air on Showtime instead of VH1. The network introduced the 13 new contestants in a video in January.

RuPaul's Drag Race All-Stars 5 premieres Friday, June 5 at 8:00 p.m. on Showtime. That means the returning queens will compete for a second chance at the crown, as well as a cash prize of $100,000 and a spot in the "Drag Race Hall of Fame". "It's the latest example of how we can leverage our combined portfolio to provide new experiences for our audience", she added.

This is the first time the show will air on Showtime.

RuPaul's Drag Race has been nominated for 34 Emmys in various categories.

An offshoot of the Emmy-winning Drag Race competition series, the All-Stars edition debuted its first season on the LGBTQ channel Logo back in 2012 before it - along with the main competition - made the jump to VH1 in 2017.

SHOWTIME is now available to subscribers via cable, DBS, and telco providers, and as a stand-alone streaming service through Amazon, Apple (R), Google, LG Smart TVs, Oculus Go, Roku (R), Samsung Smart TVs and Xbox One.
