Pokemon Home was just announced a few days ago but believe it or not, Nintendo has officially released it worldwide. The app combines all the data in one system as an auxiliary app to Pokemon games. Pokemon Home allows instructors around the world to manage their collections in Pokemon games, trade with other players, and take part in the Wonder Box and Global Trade System.

The updated version of the 2006 game will arrive on Nintendo Switch on March 6, bringing with it Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team.

For instance, moving Pokemon from the Pokemon Bank is only available with the paid subscription to Pokemon Home.

For those willing to spend money, you can select a 1 month ($2.99), 3 month ($4.99), or 12 month ($15.99) plan. These are Pikachu (for using the Pokemon Home app), Rotom (first-time Pokemon trade using GTS), Eevee (first-time Pokemon trade using Wonder Box). If you want to become a premium Pokemon Home user, you'll have to pay $16 per year, but the number of Pokemon you can store in the cloud will drastically increase from 30 to 6,000. However, the catch is you will need to sign-up for Pokemon HOME's premium plan if you want a lot of the major features - we will get to that shortly.

There are plans to support Pokemon GO in the future as well. Pokémon Home can be downloaded from Android and iOS stores for mobile devices.
