Owen Wilson all set to join Tom Hiddleston in ‘Loki’ series

Tom Hiddleston is reprising his role of Loki, the God of Mischief, in the series that will be directed by Kate Herron.

Based on Selection, Owen Wilson has now joined the present in an unspecified function which is alleged to be vital to the plot.

Disney+ series Loki has cast Owen Wilson in a significant role, but Wilson's character is being kept secret for now. Marvel Studios declined to comment.

Michael Waldron has taken up the responsibility to pen down the story for Loki, and will also be seen as a show creator and executive producer of the series. Yet the one that has the masses in a fervent state is Loki, starring Tom Hiddleston in the titular role, set to land in 2021. "#Loki", Hiddleston captioned the clip, which showed him flying through the air before landing on a green cushion.

Wilson, meanwhile, has been busy working on other projects recently.

The 51-year-old actor is best known for his work in Wes Anderson films such as "The Royal Tenenbaums", "The Darjeeling Limited" and "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou" and broad comedies such as "Zoolander" and "Wedding Crashers". He also appeared in two episodes of Documentary Now! previous year.

Loki will mark Wilson's first gig as a TV widespread, having beforehand made customer appearances on reveals like "Documentary Now!", "Tales From Radiator Springs", and "King of the Hill".
