That's the predicament Orlando Bloom found himself in this week when days after getting his son Flynn's name inked in morse code on his forearm, fans pointed out that it was spelled incorrectly. Teasing his followers about the meaning of the design, which also features Flynn's date and time of birth, the star wrote: "New #tattoo can you guess who?"

The actor unveiled his new inking earlier this week, with fans initially confused about what the seemingly random combination of dots, dashes and lines meant.

Orlando Bloom's tattoo tribute to his son didn't go as planned. The tattoo appears to instead read, "Frynn". "It's WRONG SPELLED", said one person, while another posted: "Think a trip back to the tattoo artist is required".

Bloom's tattoo artist Balazs Bercsenyi later addressed the error on Instagram, vowing to correct the typo.

"A handsome reminder for @orlandobloom of his son", he captioned the same photo of Bloom.

The 43-year-old actor - who shares Flynn with his ex-wife Miranda Kerr - took to Instagram to show off his new ink, holding up his arm for the camera. They broke up in 2013. "If we can just wrangle this beast and get on it, we'll have the ride of our life".
