The Apple Watch has always been the go-to wearable for iPhone owners. Above is the first teaser image of the watch that was shared by Brian Shen, the Vice President at Oppo. The post was written in Chinese which roughly translates to "With a flexible screen and curved design, this may be the smartwatch with the best appearance this year". The company showcased its wireless headphones and smartwatches in December previous year. We think this might be a microphone, meaning you can talk on your Oppo smartwatch without needing the smartphone. The design similarities between Oppo's smartwatch and the Apple Watch are certainly evident, predominantly because they both feature a square case with an all-screen aesthetic. Instead of having a digital crown and a side button, the Oppo smartwatch opts for two long physical buttons and the bottom key has a thin green line. The render confirms a gold color variant with metal edges and matte cream-colored straps. At the moment, we do not know whether Oppo's smartwatch will have a SIM slot or eSIM functionality.

It's also unclear what operating system it'll run.

That said, all these details including pricing and availability are likely to be discussed at Oppo's forthcoming MWC showcase.
