Many people also feel the same about battle royale games, and though it seems that won't convince Respawn to make duos a permanent thing in Apex Legends, they will at least let us play duos in another limited time mode through this Valentine's day week.

Apex Legends, which was very popular at the time of its debut, has lost its popularity for a number of reasons. Although the game has many structural features of a legendary game like Titanfall 2, it has fun and fluid mechanics, but players do not prefer Apex Legends for a particular reason.

More details to follow should Apex Legends release details of that PS4 update that should be forthcoming soon.

Duos mode debuted in Apex Legends late previous year, where it was warmly received by the fanbase, who were disappointed that it wasn't a permanent fixture. The headline of the Valentine's Day Rendezvous is that duos are coming back for a limited time from February 11 to 18, letting players team up with that special someone to try to claim that Apex Championship. This game mode will be part of Valentine's Day Rendezvous, which adds a few cosmetic equipment to the game. The Apex Games welcome all comers - survive long enough, and they call you a Legend.

From today until February 18, "Duos" will return to Apex Legends on all platforms, letting players take on the all and sundry with a running buddy of their choosing. Along with Valentine's Day equipment, old equipment is also returning to the game. The original heart badge is staying unique to those who picked it up in year one, and year two Valentine players will get a brand new Nessie badge.
