2 small earthquakes shake this Pennsylvania county

However, only two people actually reported feeling a quake.

The U.S. Geological Survey confirmed a 2.7 natural disaster struck around 5 a.m. Monday, February 3, with the epicenter near Roundabout Road in Louisa County.

No damage or injuries have been reported at this time.

The 2011 quake was a magnitude 5.8 and was felt up and down the East Coast.

Two small earthquakes were registered this weekend in York County.

The second quake, felt on Sunday morning, around 4:30 a.m., had a magnitude of 1.8 and was around 5.6 miles also northwest of Dover.

"Since at least 1774, people in central Virginia have felt small earthquakes and suffered damage from infrequent larger ones", the USGS said. It replaces the old Richter scale.
