Nikkie de Jager, the Dutch-born YouTube beauty star better known as NikkieTutorials, has come out as a transgender woman in a new 17-minute video she shared on January 13. On Monday, she posted a 17 minute video titled "I'm Coming Out" on her Youtube channel.

"To the people who wanted to blackmail me, this one's for you", she says, as she flips the bird to the camera. "The last thing I want in my life is for you to not trust me anymore or to look at me with different eyes or look at me in a different manner, or think that I have changed", she said.

"Planet earth is full with labels and I never felt comfortable with labels".

"It is 2020 and I want to start the year off with the truth, by finally revealing a part of my life that has made me who I am. I want to talk about a part of myself that makes me, me", she said.

NikkieTutorials YouTube Overcoming nerves and her blackmailers, Nikkie told her full story to the world. Nikkie even revealed that her mom was sure when she was pregnant with her that she was carrying a daughter and joked that she was, even though that's not how her body emerged into the world.

She added: "Ever since, I was born, I've always thought that I was a girl and I just couldn't understand why I had short hair or why I had to wear pants and a t-shirt or why couldn't I wear dresses. I transitioned while on YouTube", she explained.

"I know people are going to ask a lot of questions about Dylan", the beauty vlogger said in the clip. So, Dylan and I, we clicked and he didn't know.

De Jager always planned to tell her story one day, but she elected to keep her transition private so that viewers would focus on her work and technical skills as a makeup artist rather than her gender identity. She has always supported me, always accepted me. "I have changed a bit because damn this feels liberating and freeing".

"Hello, guys, it's me, Nikkie".

The 25-year-old started her channel 11 years ago with a makeup tutorial filmed from her bedroom when she was just 14.

"I have been blackmailed by people that wanted to "leak" my story to the press, and at first, it was frightening".

"I can't imagine how scary this must have been and I'm sorry that circumstances forced this upon you, but your community has your back", one person commented. It was frightening to know that there are people out there that are so evil that they can not respect someone's true identity. Instead of giving in, she explains, she said that she was living her truth. It is vile and it is gross.
