The world's inexplicable and seemingly unquenchable thirst for hot serial killer dudes was momentarily satiated when Netflix released Season 2 of You last month.

Penn Badgley and Victoria Pedretti will return to reprise their respective roles as Joe Goldberg and Love Quinn.

You season 2 stars returning cast members Penn Badgley and Ambyr Childers, with a new cast including Victoria Pedretti (The Haunting of Hill House), Robin Lord Taylor (Gotham), Adwin Brown (Heathers), Chris D'Elia (Workaholics), James Scully (Heathers), Jenna Ortega (Jane the Virgin) and Charlie Barnett (Russian Doll).

Now the streaming service, known for culling shows after their second season, is renewing the show for season 3.

If you've been endlessly stalking your news feed for updates on the future ofYOU after that Season 2 finale twist, your moment has come!

Developed by Gamble and Berlanti, You is based on Caroline Kepnes' bestselling books You and Hidden Bodies.

Looks like you will be seeing a lot more of Joe, the creepy stalker.

"We wrote [the finale] hoping that we will get the opportunity to tell more story because we're really excited with the seeds planted at the end of season two", executive producer Sera Gamble told Entertainment Weekly.

The exact release date is a loose one, with it pegged for some time in 2021, and sadly if it follows the suit of previous seasons, we're looking at November/December drop.

Season 3 of You will be the second season of the series to debut exclusively on Netflix. "As much as people love him, he deserves that pressure, he deserves to feel in trouble". "Basically, it's set up for Season 3 in a way where they would be each other's arch nemesis".
