The below music video's song is titled "WE ARE BORN TO PLAY" by producer duo Galantis featuring singer Charli XCX.

Obviously the actual theme park will differ in to some extent-the music video meshes actual people with plenty of computer generated imagery (CGI). Of course, you shouldn't because that won't get you a free pass into Super Nintendo World anyway. You literally have to build a functioning little community here in the real world.

Super Nintendo World will open at Universal Studios Japan in summer 2020, with additional parks opening up at Universal Hollywood, Orlando, and Singapore later on.

Previously a vague "before the 2020 Tokyo Olympics" was given as a release window for the opening of the park. The wristbands will allow guests to fight boss battles, collect digital coins and compete with each other as they explore the park. For example, there will be a two-story area and Super Mario Kart and Yoshi rides.

If Disneyland is a place of dreams, then it's really no surprise that Super Nintendo World would look and feel like one giant life-sized video game.

Update: On Twitter Bloomberg reporter Kurumi Mori has posted more images and information from a briefing event. "You're not just playing the game; you're living the game, you're living the adventure". The presentation has revealed much about the upcoming theme park: the Nintendo themed land will open before the Summer Olympics, it'll feature wearable wrist tech for interactive experiences throughout the park, and it will have its own smartphone app. Meanwhile, Charli and Toad sing from the highest point of Peach's castle.
