India will be playing five T20 Internationals, three ODIs and two Test matches in New Zealand from January 24.

While speaking to a news daily, Hardik Pandya said that the biggest trauma was when MS Dhoni had got out because he was confident that Dhoni would get India past the finish line like he had done it on so many instances even on that particular day as well. The 38-year-old has not played since India's World Cup semifinal loss to New Zealand on July 9, but is likely to make a comeback with the IPL.

There is not much reshuffle in India's limited overs squad for the upcoming 6-week tour of New Zealand. However, he backed Tamil Nadu all-rounder Vijay Shankar to be part of the two-match Test series in New Zealand.

With India A's three List A games only ending on January 26, Hardik, returning from a back surgery, might be included by the time the January 29 third T20 worldwide comes calling.

According to BCCI resources, Hardik Pandya had accompanied the India-A team without playing Ranji Trophy suits, if news reports tend to be considered, based on the report, their instructor has made it clear that with regards to bowling, Nothing can probably be said about all of them.

"About Hardik, it's only about checking out if he is fully fit for global cricket or not. All the other players picked themselves", a senior BCCI official privy to selection matters told PTI on the condition of anonymity. The weakest link in the one-day team is Kedar Jadhav, who despite pressure, retains his place in the 50-over team. "No point in the team dispersing after the Australia game and then regrouping again and heading to New Zealand", the source said.

Both Surya and Sanju Samson are in the A squad.

The test team wears a very serene look, the only dispute being the third slot of the opener.

Virat Kohli (captain), Rohit Sharma (vice-captain), KL Rahul, Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant (wk), Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Manish Pandey, Shivam Dube, Jasprit Bumrah, Shardul Thakur, Navdeep Saini, Washington Sundar, Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Shami.

Recently Hardik Pandya talked about his career early days, especially the inputs he got from former Indian captain MS Dhoni. We hope that we have succeeded by giving you the full details and information.
