Its estimated 31 million combined download total across the iOS App Store and Google Play in the U.S. was more than double the tally of silver medalist TikTok.

During that period, Call of Duty was the most desired game, with over 180 million downloads.

If you're a fan of mobile games then there's likely one particular game you've checked out: app download stats of 2019 have been published, and there's a huge victor in the form of Call of Duty: Mobile which had over 180 million downloads in the last few months of the year.

The revenue from TikTok grew 540% yearly, but most of that comes from China, where the app also offers in-app purchases of whatever people are selling or influencing.

More impressive is the fact that Disney+ only launched on November 12, which is well into the measure period of October 1-December 31, and is now only available in five markets.

Sensor Tower revealed the biggest surprise was the launch of Disney+ - it was launched on November 12, but quickly rose to 9th place for Q4 2019 on the App Store.

Disney+ is off to a pretty nice start, with the new streaming service being downloaded more than any other app in the US during the fourth quarter, according to data shared by research firm Sensor Tower. The $50 million in revenue also topped the best month ever for HBO Now, which coincided with the final season of "Game of Thrones".

Disney+ accounted for 34% of the streaming market on Apple and Google devices, even exceeding the total downloads for the whole of the year of Hulu and Amazon Prime Video.

Meanwhile, YouTube narrowly lost to TikTok in the US App Store download battle, settling for the last place on the podium, ahead of Gmail, Netflix, Messenger, and Facebook.
