Eminem has issued a statement addressing the backlash he's received for controversial new album, Music To Be Murdered By, telling people that the LP was "designed to shock". Before releasing the album, he did not make any announcements about his album. So before you jump the gun, please allow me to explain. Eminem's new album just debuted and it's already topping charts all over the globe.

He also faced criticism for his lyrics on "Unaccommodating", where he raps about the bombing outside Ariana Grande's 2017 concert at Manchester Arena. Certain selections have been developed to shock conscience, which can lead to positive action.

On the opening song on the album, Eminem raps: "I'm contemplating yelling "bombs away" on the game/Like I'm outside of an Ariana Grande concert waiting", followed by the sound of an explosion. "Unfortunately, darkness has truly fallen upon us", he wrote in the letter.

You see, murder is not always literal and not pleasant in this case. "These bars are only meant for the sharpest of knives in the drawers". May you rest peacefully for the victims of the album.

He took a swipe at his critics at the end of the letter, urging them to "listen more closely next time". "Goodnight!" he concluded. "With deepest sympathy, Eminem".

In the new music video for Darkness, another track from Music To Be Murdered By, Em depicts the bloody massacre from the 2017 Las Vegas shooting that killed 58 and wounded 413 at the Route 91 Harvest music festival on the Las Vegas Strip in Nevada.

According to The Evening Telegraph, Dundee, Scotland rapper Zee The Dungeounous, is making allegations that Eminem bit his concept and release date for Music To Be Murdered By.

Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, has a history of causing controversy with his lyrics.
