The Canadian singer has been in a relationship with Elon Musk since May 2018 and confirmed the same during their appearance at the Met Gala. Delusional, may be. But never boring.

"Teslas will soon talk to people if you want", he wrote in the caption, adding, "This is real".

Instead of having to roll down the window during the brisk months of winter to talk to pedestrians and other people outside the vehicle, Tesla owners will soon be able to speak to them through a set of external speakers.

Tesla's shares closed 0.66% lower at $478.15 on Friday.

Do our readers think Musk can make it?

The video is short, but shows a Tesla Model 3 driving past with a speech recording playing externally - "Well don't just stand there staring, hop in".

Now, while the idea of "talking cars" sounds interesting, it isn't clear if the driver of the vehicle would be able to relay a custom message to pedestrians or they'd just get an option to play an automated message pre-fed into the auto.

In the same thread, Musk also implied that Tesla would also be able to produce "fart" sounds. "This is real", the eccentric Tesla CEO said on Twitter Saturday, where he shared a video of a Tesla auto testing out the function.

In a reply to one of her posts on Twitter, Elon Musk has posted a cryptic tweet that has left thousands of users confused and curious. Plus, Musk has a habit of giving over ambitious deadlines. The feature hasn't landed yet.
