Both uniforms featured a fractal diamond Swoosh on the jersey and trousers, which has been a staple of the playoff since it's inception.

President Donald Trump turned sports fan for an evening as he watched No. 1 Louisiana State University and No. 3 Clemson battle it out in the College Football Playoff Championship. If Pinckney can't play, the Tigers will likely go with reserve Jordan Williams who has 31 tackles and 2.5 sacks in 14 games. He also was jeered and booed at a World Series game in Washington. The school's two most recent national championships were won in the Superdome (in 2004 and 2008), but the last time LSU played there with everything at stake, after the 2011 season, it was blanked by Alabama. The Tide faced SEC champion Georgia, which wore its home uniform by virtue of being the higher seed (3). A big hype video was shared by LSU and The Rock both to get their fanbase charged up for the big National Championship game. It was the same result, too.

LSU faces Clemson for the CFP title at 8 p.m. on ESPN.

The president attended the Army-Navy football game last month and was warmly welcomed at the LSU-Alabama game.

Of course they'll be taking on LSU who comes into this game between -5 or -5.5 point betting favorites.
