The software and security update includes a number of fixes aimed directly at the Pixel 4, the newest member of Google's self-branded phone lineup.

Next week, Google will start rolling out the December 2019 patch for the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL and has discussed its contents ahead of time.

Here's a list of all the best Google Pixel 4 Cyber Monday 2019 deals, rounded up by online sales specialists at Deal Stripe. This Pixel 3 and Pixel 3a bug renders the phone virtually unusable as the crash dialog appears on-screen all the time.

Google has released today the Android Security Patch for December 2019 for its latest Android 10 mobile operating system series to address some of the most critical security vulnerabilities. Google not following through on that promise is a big deal. However, Verizon is offering up to $400 off the iPhone 11, 11 Pro, and 11 Pro Max with eligible trade-ins. The update comes with several fixes and improvements across areas like performance, stability, camera, display and face unlock.

The December 2019 patch isn't satisfied with just that, mind. Tapping App info on the pop-up message will take you to the launcher's settings; from there, you can click on the three-dot menu to uninstall updates. Pixels are supposed to stand out as a shining beacon of hope in a world scattered with update fragmentation left and right, and if the Pixel 4 is now going on two months without a timely update, that doesn't bode well for what's supposed to be Android's update champion.
