Lisa Snyder, 36, was arrested Monday at her Albany Township home where the two siblings were discovered September 23 hanging in the basement, news station Fox29 reported.

Court documents showed that Snyder had done internet searches on how long it would take someone to die from strangulation, carbon monoxide poisoning and that she had watched crime television shows about getting away with murder.

Connor, 8, and Brinley, 4, died three days after they were found hanging in the basement of their home.

Snyder's attorney Dennis Charles could not be reached for comment.

Now, a horrifying twist: Snyder was on Monday charged in their deaths, with the 36-year-old hit with counts of first-degree murder, third-degree murder, and tampering with evidence, among other charges, reports the Morning Call.

"A mother of two children found hanging, would make every effort to save them - That was not done in this situation".

Snyder also claimed that her son was bullied at school and hung himself and his sister.

According to court records Conner and Brinley were "hanging approximately three feet apart from a single wired cable with plastic coating", Fox 32 reported.

As the audio continues, the dispatcher relays to responding officers that Conner had specified in his threats that he "didn't want to go alone".

"The wire was wrapped around the main support beam of the basement and each end was wrapped around the victims' necks", Adams said.

Adams said detectives interviewed relatives, school officials, and Conner's classmates, finding no evidence the boy ever complained of being bullied or had ever expressed a suicidal thought.

The children were unconscious and in cardiac arrest when they were found, but medics revived them en route to the hospital.

"It's a frightful death, nobody should have to suffer that ever and I'm sorry that they had to go through that", said Robert Sweeney.

"Two children's lives were lost here", Adams said.

Snyder has not entered pleas to the charges against her.
