HMD Global announces the Nokia 2.3 internationally, full specs inside

The Android 10 update is now being rolled out for the experimental flagship of HMD Global, the Nokia 9 PureView. On the leading, the Nokia 2.3 provides a 5-megapixel digital camera with an f/2.4 aperture.

At the back, it shall have a 13MP/2MP dual camera setting with flash.

The Nokia 2.3 runs a stock version of Android 9 Pie with very few customizations.

The first one, the Nokia 8.1, received the update just under 2 months ago.

HMD Global has launched the Nokia 2.3 for Euros 109 which roughly translates to Rs 8,600. Called the Nokia 2.3, the phone is the newest budget offering from the company and is a successor to the Nokia 2.2 launched earlier this year.

Nokia 2.3 has 4000 mAh battery but it supports 10W charging, so don't expect some quick charging there. Those are exactly the things that the Nokia 2.3 is advertised to bring but sounds too good to be true considering the hardware the phone actually has.

Classic, Butterfly, Heart or Star shaped that came with Nokia 7.2.

The Nokia 2.3 gets a dual-camera setup at the rear that consists of a primary 13-megapixel sensor mated to an f/2.2 lens and a secondary 2-megapixel depth sensor. Before and after the shutter is pressed, the camera already takes some shots so you can be presented with the best image.

There is no fingerprint sensor in the Nokia 2.3, but to compensate for it, facial recognition has been integrated. The phone will be available in Cyan Green, Sand and Charcoal colours.

This phone ships with 32GB of internal storage and you can expand it further with a microSD card upto 512GB. Besides having a volume rocker and a power button, the handset also gets a physical Google Assistant button.

The other specifications of Nokia 2.3 include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB (v2.0), and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone will be available for buying globally from mid-December.
