Colts WR Hilton uncertain he'll return this season

Vinatieri is appearing on the injury report for the first time this season.

Winston's rookie contract expires at the end of the season and the 25-year-old's future in Tampa Bay is up in the air.

Vinatieri was asked by media members on Thursday whether he thought he would play again this season.

Vinatieri said Thursday he needed clarity from medical personnel regarding chronic knee pain. If Vinatieri can't suit up this week, McLaughlin will kick for his third team this season.

He has six missed extra points and is converting 68 percent of his field-goal attempts this season.

Tampa Bay does have a way of dropping games they should win, but based on how well they've looked the past two weeks, I think the Buccaneers are finally figuring things out - even if it is too little too late.

During Mack's two-game absence, the Colts split carries between Jonathan Williams, Jordan Wilkins and Nyheim Hines. After a 5-2 start, the Colts are 1-4 in their past five games with three of the losses by four points or fewer.

The Colts aren't going to cut Vinatieri-not when their season is all but lost and his career is likely over after this campaign.

But if Vinatieri's knee injury is significant enough to keep him off of the field for the next month, this is likely the last we have seen from the NFL's leading scorer.
