The bonuses will be paid based on the number of years each employee has been with the company.

The company said the bonus was given to celebrate reaching the goal of developing 20 million square feet of office, retail and other commercial real estate space in eight states.

But one company has left its employees shocked after management revealed they'd all walk away with massive bonuses.

Employees screamed in disbelief when St. John told them of the bonus, with each staffer opening a red envelope with the exact size of their award.

John, the founder and chairman of St. John Properties, announced at the company's holiday party that all 198 employees will enjoy the bonuses.

Danielle Valenzia, an accounts payable specialist in the company for 19 years, said in the video, 'It's life-changing'. The smallest amount, $100, was for an employee who was just hired and hadn't even started at the company yet.

St. John Properties react to the news they will receive a shared $10 million bonus. "They were screaming, crying, laughing, hugging", Mr Maykrantz said. They added that only five employees knew about the big announcement prior to the party. "I couldn't think of a better way to show it".

"I'll never forget it when all of the employees at the same time opened up their envelope and saw their individual bonus amount", said Maykrantz.

The firm's president said the company chose to thank all the employees for helping it achieve its goal.

"I steer the boat but they are the ones that run the boat". "We pride ourselves on that".
